StoryDev Character Generator Released!

The long awaited StoryDev Character Generator is now available to download and purchase.

Why another Character Generator? Because out of the many that are available on the market, they are either restrictive in their licensing terms or do not offer many options for generating characters.

While the latter is most certainly the case for our launch -- we will be working on significantly more assets to incorporate into the software as time goes on. We already have multiple poses in the pipeline, including "Crying", "Stunned", "Look Left", "Look Right", and "Surprised", adding 19 new frames for generated sprites.

Of course, although these poses are already available to incorporate, clothing assets need to be modified to work with these new frames, so expect some time before this release.

We also want to continue improving Character Generator, including:

• Adding more organisation options in projects.
• Adding better animation frame tools in the user interface.
• Adding the ability to modify the outline colours of assets and adding/removing them.
• And probably more features

And once you have purchased Character Generator, all updates to the base software are free-of-charge.
